Quick visit from São Paulo to Asunción, capital of Paraguay under beautiful Spring skies and 32-33C. Most of these photos were taken on Sunday but even on Saturday it was very quiet!

Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge (2)

In a wooded part of the refuge today.
Came up behind a raccoon walking along the trail


It climbed a tree to get away from me (sorry for scaring it)


Downy Woodpecker


Hairy Woodpeckers (bigger and with a longer beak than the Downy)


Not sure about this. Looks a bit like a Nashville Warbler in my book, but not quite.


Not sure about this one either. Maybe a female bluebird.
